Labor and Birth Doula Services
How I Assist
As a Doula, I pride myself in providing you and your partner with care, understanding, information and support throughout, during, and after the birthing process. Our initial meeting will help me tailor my packages to fit your needs, as every pregnancy is different. To schedule an initial consultation, or to learn more about my practice, please contact me.
I provide a complimentary consultation so we can meet and get to know each other. What helps you to feel calm and connected? What makes you tick? This will give us both an opportunity to see if we are a good match and gives you the chance to decide if you would like to hire me as your birth doula.
My doula fee is $700 and this includes a prenatal visit, continuous birth support, and one postpartum visit. I require 50% to retain my services and hold my schedule for your birth, at the time of hiring. The remainder is due at your 36 week prenatal appointment.
Included with my services is your prenatal appointment where we will discuss your birth plan as well as practice comfort measures to use during your last weeks of pregnancy and during labor. It will be important for your labor partner to attend this meeting as we will practice these skills together. We will also discuss breastfeeding (if you'd like) and the postpartum recovery period.

When you’re in labor, I will join you when you say the word. I can help create more ease in your transition to the hospital or birth center – or meet you at your place of birth. I am there for your whole family, so that means that I work closely with partners as well as laboring moms to offer continuous, hands on labor support. Once your baby is born, I will remain by your side for one to three hours in the immediate postpartum and assist with establishing breastfeeding (if applicable).

I take notes during your birth experience so that you have a memory of this special time. Birth photos, as you'd like, are also included in this package. We’ll process your birth experience at our postpartum follow-up visit (1-2 weeks after the birth of your baby) and provide any additional newborn care and breastfeeding information you might need.

As your doula, I am committed to your health and the well-being of your growing family, available whenever needed throughout your entire pregnancy as well as after giving birth. I will be there to provide you with continuous emotional and physical support during your labor and birth. Prior to your birth, I am happy to answer any and all questions you may have, by phone, text, or email. I am happy to offer both birth and postpartum doula services so that I may continue to be of assistance to you once your baby joins your family, if you'd like.
