Bringing home a new baby is an exciting event for the whole family! It can also be a time of challenge and change for older children in the family. Mom and Dad have their hands full with newborn care and lack of sleep. As an Early Childhood Specialist in Education and, with many years of experience as a mother and child care provider, I am happy to work with older siblings to help them in their adjustment to a new baby in the home. Using a combination of play, art, and music, I will assist your older child or children in their acceptance of their new role as an older brother or sister. I am also happy to provide respite care for you with your older children so that you can actually 'sleep when the baby sleeps!'
